It's a Scientific Fact!

Through Physics and other scientific methods we now understand that energy cannot be destroyed, it can only change form. We know through medical research that our bodies require electricity to function. Without that electrical impulse our hearts stop beating. When that electrical impulse is disrupted our hearts cannot beat normally, causing Sudden Cardiac Arrest. In both cases a device called an Automatic External Defibrillator is required to fix the electrical issue. This device sends a large dose of electricity through the heart and, in many cases, brings the heart back into a normal rhythm. Lastly, something weighing 21 grams leaves our body after it dies, according to a scientific study published in 1907 by Duncan MacDougall, a physician from Haverhill, Massachusetts.

The death of our physical bodies is nothing but the ending of one journey and the beginning of another. We are a spiritual being having a human experience. We are here to learn but the debate continues about what we should be learning. My question is why would we want to limit what we learn about? I want to learn about everything I can while I am here. But there is only one true answer to that question and the answer is love! We are here to learn how to truly love, unconditionally.

There may be many issues or statements that are debatable but one thing that you cannot debate is that when you experience genuine love, there is no better feeling in the world. If we all lived every moment in love, there would be no negatives! There wouldn’t be hate, lack, pain, suffering, guilt, ego, murder, torture, theft or anything else negative. Living in love is the meaning of Heaven on Earth.

However, we were born with challenges designed to help us learn how to be more loving souls. We are born sinners with free will living a life designed to challenge us and help us grow. That means that the moment we were born we are given the ability to choose. I have to choose right over wrong, regardless of what is going on around me. I can’t be made to do what is right or wrong by anyone, not even God, because of His gift of free will. Understanding Free Will is one the greatest challenges. We want to control others, which is sabotage to another person’s free will. We want to understand, if there is a God, why he doesn’t stop these horrible tragedies from happening. This is asking God to sabotage another human’s free will.

Controlling others or wanting to control the outcomes of situations is not living in love, its living in ego. You are assuming that you know what is best for someone else, which is egotistical. When we trust that everyone is doing what they are supposed to do, it allows us to focus on our own path instead of the path of others. Controlling others is a learned behavior that we have struggled with for a very long time. In 1951 Reinhold Niebuhr wrote the Serenity Prayer.

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;
enjoying one moment at a time;
accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
that I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
forever in the next.

Amen.

I believe that if you can understand and believe in these ideas you will see a dramatic shift in the way you view yourself and others. Accepting the basic beliefs that we have a tangible energy inside of us that came from somewhere we cannot see, that our “soul” returns to a place we cannot see is the first step to truly understanding your purpose, your path and your destiny.
